About the Event
The Global Big Day takes place every year in October and May. Â Birders from all around the world, will be engaging in bird counts in their region for 24 hours on Saturday October 12th 2024. Â We wish to put together a group of 8-10 pax - 2 cars of birders led by two of our most experienced birding guides to count the birds of El Karama WIldlife Conservancy. Â We will be placing our count results online for verification and placement. Â For the last 4 years we have placed in the Top 3 for Kenya closely behind Nairobi National Park and Soysambu Conservancy. Â Come and join the fun and help us show what an incredible habitat EKWC is for birds.
